After the introduction of support for DoIP, the latest Release 13 is now supporting the further development of CAN – with a flexible data rate (CAN-FD). In particular it makes the recording and analysis of traces possible for the first time. This offline analysis is now supported by the new version of the previous analysis tool (Analyzer) – DTS Analytics .
The Diagnostic Tool Set 8 with the high-performance ISO MVCI server as runtime system, in conjunction with the Softing D-PDU API, now also enables the communication of CAN-FD bus messages. The tool set is thus responding to the growing number of new developments of CAN-FD-capable ECUs and continuing to offer the customer a reliable and future-oriented basis.
Another new feature: A direct display of the VCIs activated for diagnostics gives the user relevant information even before a workspace is loaded and thus significantly saves time at test access.
Furthermore the tried and tested control units “Flash Programming”, “Service Table”, “Quicktest”, “Recorder”, as well as “Variant Coding” and the “Soft Key” have been further optimized and given new display and control features. The “Recorder” in particular has been given several new display features and is thus even better at displaying the diagnostic parameters and measurement values.
Registered users with a maintenance and service package will receive the upgrade to release 13 free of charge.
